Three main track extended sprint wire jobs on opening day. Two stalking types and a patient runner made up the three grass winners.
Hat trick for Mike Smith included two Stakes wins (Ismene, Mr. Commons). Joel Rosario and Carla Gaines teamed up for two wins on the afternoon.
On the ticket front I tabbed two Primary (Mr. Bossy Pants, Mr. Commons) winners and two Secondary (American Blend, The Factor) winners.
