$55,585 Santa Anita Pick 6 Carryover Tickets – Jan 27

Thursday Santa Anita Park Recap – Jan 26

Edge to early-pressing types (2 sprint wire jobs) on the fast main track. A flat mile wire job and a last-to-first downhill score made up the two turf winners (rail at 15 feet).

Joe Talamo booted home a pair.

On the ticket front I tabbed one Primary (Miss Radiance) winner and one Secondary (Cloud Top) winner.

Note that the Standard Ticket shows how much it would cost if you used all of the contenders on one ticket. The multiple Primary/Secondary ticket strategy saves money and allows you to put your strong handicapping opinions to the test.

Hey Jarod! Is there anything different with the Luck Pick Six for Saturday? Also, they say there’s going to be a breakdown on the racetrack in the first episode of Luck. Do you know how many breakdowns have occurred this meet? Doesn’t seem too good for the image of horse racing.

I will be posting the Luck Pick 6 tickets shortly. $1 minimum with no consolation and mandatory payout (23.68% takeout). As for breakdowns at the current SA meet, I have not heard any stats on that. Would like to see HBO series Luck. I was a fan of David Milch’s show Deadwood. Don’t forget double pick six carryover at SA on Sunday.
