$69,371 Santa Anita Park Pick 6 Carryover – Feb 19
Friday Santa Anita Park Recap – Feb 18 (5 out of 6)
Edge to early-pressing types on the main track. Back on the turf and that footing seemed to favor horses within striking range.
Riding doubles for Victor Espinoza and Garrett Gomez.
On the ticket front I tabbed four Primary (Montellano, Warren’s Flyer, Church Camp, Taptap I’mgone) winners and one Secondary (Big Wags) winner. I had five of the eight runners in the opening leg and finished 2nd thru 6th while missing by a nose…ouch! For the record, I had the $957.40 conso three times and we have a carryover for Saturday!
