Before we get into the Thursday carryover action, let’s recap the Wednesday program.

Wednesday (5-19-10) Hollywood Park Recap

No wire jobs as stalkers and closers held the edge on both surfaces.

Hat trick for Tyler Baze. Martin Garcia booted home a pair.

I ended up with an even split of three wins and three 2nds on my Wednesday pick six tickets .

Jarrod Horak’s Hollywood Park Pick 6 analysis – Thursday, May 20, 2010

Hollywood Park Race 3 (MSW, CA-bred 2yo fil, 4.5f) #1 Missilette (3-1) landed show from outside post in local bow. She adds blinkers and sports a bullet for sharp juvenile outfit. #7 Hollywood Affair (5-2) adds blinkers after a troubled local bow vs. similar. #4 Trick Skate (2-1) finished a close-up 4th in local bow. Pace factor. #5 Strike Your Fancy (6-1) also dons the hood for the 28% Baze/O’Neill team.

Hollywood Park Race 4 (Clm-12.5k, f&m 3up, 6.5f) #4 For Sure For Sure (5-2) ran well off the claim last time and could turn out to be a decent purchase for a low profile barn. #2 Miss Anime (2-1) has fired in three straight and exits a rallying place finish under today’s jock Tyler Baze. #3 No Ka Oi (7-2) attracts Bejarano and is up the ladder despite not winning in quite some time.

Hollywood Park Race 5 (Alw-1x, 3yo fil, 8T) My Horse Racing Nation Play of the Day.

Hollywood Park Race 6 (Clm-8k, 3up, 7f) My MySpace Play of the Day.

Hollywood Park Race 7 (OC-40/1x, 3up, 12T) My Today’s Racing Digest Play of the Day.

Hollywood Park Race 8 (Mcl-40k, 2yo, 4.5f) #4 The Great Caper (5-2) easily earned the best last race speed rating in his debut show finish vs. similar local rivals April 28. #6 Comma To The Top (6-1) could hit the ground running for quality connections. #2 Success Again (6-1) and/or #8 Jason (12-1) could improve second time out. #5 Bourne To Romp (9-2) finished 3rd with blinkers/lasix here last time.

Just like to leave a comment that I do not like the changes to pick6blog. I understand that you are busy as a bee, and have lots of stuff going on and cannot cover the pick6 every day, but when you do cover it, don’t make me go to 4 different web sites just to review the selections for the pick6. Good Luck tomorrow!
