Jarrod Horak’s Hollywood Park Pick 6 analysis – Wednesday, November 18, 2009
Hollywood Race 3 (Clm-10k, f&m 3up, 8.5f) #6 Stanford Dolly (3-1) enjoys this distance, and her last win occurred here. #3 Paloma’s Flight (4-1) has more tactical speed than she showed last time. Rosario here. #4 My Spanish Fling (2-1) earned best last race speed rating on the sod. Pace player for 33% Talamo/Sadler team.
Hollywood Race 4 (Mcl-50k, f&m 3up, 6.5f) #4 Esmeralda’s Girl (5-1) is an above par sales purchase firing bullets for a 22% debut maiden claiming barn (Vienna). Rosario here, and note that Vienna also has #1 Call Me Dutchess (3-1), who does best work in synthetic sprints. #6 Fleet Royale (7-2) drops back in for a tag and might get brave if able to shake loose early.
Hollywood Race 5 (Clm-25/2L, f&m 3up, 6.5f) #6 Maeve (9-2) earned above par speed rating in nose defeat versus $12.5k Oak Tree foes off a layoff last time. Recently hot Rosario hops aboard. #2 Life By R R (7-2) drops, switches surfaces, and tuns back in distance. Sports a local bullet and reunites with Solis. #10 Carnival Queen (5-1) drops, switches surfaces, and reunites with Gomez. Late running threat.
Hollywood Race 6 (Clm-40k, 3up, 6.5f) #2 Bad Boy (5-2) always fires and confidently scurries up the ladder for Canani. Gets pace to set up his stretch run. #6 High Standards (4-1) earned best last race speed rating in conventional dirt stakes event. Handles this oval and should make presence felt throughout under Rosario.
Hollywood Race 7 (OC-25/1x, CA-bred f&m 3up, 8.5f) #5 Asanti (2-1) handled a route of ground on turf last time. 2-time synthetic sprint winner is the one to catch under Gomez. #2 Lupita’sluckyangel (4-1) owns early-pressing speed and sports a bullet for this. 5-time synthetic winner.
Hollywood Race 8 (Str-Alw, 2yo fil, 6f) #8 Victory Dash (9-2) made a middle move into a tepid pace over a route of ground last time. Attracts Rosario and is back sprinting. #10 West Ruler (9-5) returns to winning distance for 38% Bejarano/Sadler team.

Thanks everyone. That is the 4th successful ticket on this site. I got one home at Del Mar ($53k) and a pair at Oak Tree ($2k, $5k) to go along with the chalky Nov 18th pick six ($748) at Hollywood.
Too bad Victory Dash could not get the job done in the finale, but I’ll take the chalk winner.
