Early-pressing types (3 wire jobs) dominated on the fast main track. Stalkers and closers best on the turf course (rail at 15 feet).
Eswan Flores, Martin Pedroza, and Joe Talamo each booted home a pair.
On the ticket front I tabbed four Primary (Late Night Sky, Big Tsimmis, Achilles, Run For Miles) winners and one Secondary (Backwoods Belle) winner. Three Cuties gave me a shot at six but settled for the place after getting first run in the hillside 3rd. That’s back-to-back consos and this one paid a whopping $9.20.

Rafael Bejarano, Mike Smith (stakes), and Joe Talamo each booted home a pair. Peter Eurton saddled three winners on the day. Agapito Delgadillo and Mark Glatt teamed up for two dirt sprint winners. John Sadler saddled two winners on the afternoon.

Three wins apiece for Rafael Bejarano and Joe Talamo. Training doubles for Vladimir Cerin and John Sadler.
On the ticket front I tabbed five Primary (Koast, Trapper’s Bounty, Bodie Girl, Calimonco, Pretty Darn Quick) winners and one Secondary (Rock This Way) winner. Bingo! The winning sequence paid $4,446.60. I actually gave out 6/6 twice since Primary player Boat Trip scratched out of the opening leg, so I got post time favorite and fellow Primary contender Koast again.
