Wednesday Del Mar Recap – Sept 7 (closing day)

Horses within striking range best on Polytrack. Turf course played fair.

Martin Garcia and Alonso Quinonez both booted home a pair. John Sadler saddled two winners on closing day.

On the ticket front I tabbed three Primary (Mensa Heat, Hard To Resist, Chiloquin) winners and two Secondary (Gatheratthealter, Evasive Charmer) winners.

I will catch up with my Pick 6 blog profit/loss numbers before the start of the Santa Anita fall meet.

Pick 6 Blog Schedule for September 2011

I will take a break from my daily Pick 6 duties during the 13-day Fairplex meet. I will be back to my normal schedule during the upcoming Santa Anita Park fall meet, which kicks off Friday, September 30.

In the meantime, I will be posting my usual Beyond the Crown updates and will also begin my 2012 Kentucky Derby Top 10 blog series (including video) this week.
