Sunday (8-1-10) Del Mar Recap
Four wire jobs on Polytrack included a trio at six furlongs. Lone turf route carded was nabbed by a patient type.
Hat trick for Joel Rosario. Victor Espinoza booted home a pair. Doug O’Neill saddled two winners on the day and Rosario rode both.
Cost of Freedom (8th race) blew the break and sharp 3-year-old Smiling Tiger took full advantage in a G1 Bing Crosby Stakes wire job tally. Scenic Blast chased throughout and was clearly second best. E Z’s Gentleman rounded out the top three.
On the ticket front, I ended up with four winners on Sunday. I got a pair each on the suggested Primary (Subsidized, Dazzling Razz) and Secondary (Victory Dash, Smiling Tiger) tickets.
