Saturday (8-7-10) Del Mar Recap
A pair of 5.5 furlong Polytrack sprint wire jobs but it was hardly a speed brigade on Saturday. Patient runners best on turf (rail at 14 feet).
Mike Smith and Patrick Valenzuela both booted home a pair. Mike Mitchell saddled two winners on the day.
Win machine Zenyatta did her thing again in the Grade 1 Clement L Hirsch. I wonder where she goes for her final BC Classic prep?
On the pick six ticket front, I got home a pair of Primary (Where’s The Remote, Zenyatta) and two Secondary (Miss Peanut, Low Gear Power) winners on Saturday.
