Big time fav Warrens High Yield ($3.20) romped in the Sunday opener for Santiago Reyes/Gutierrez.
Chalky early double as Pedroza guided Esporte Dos Reis to a 3-length tally for trainer Jack Carava.
Juvenile special weight sprint went to Majestic Peak ($7.80). Flores/Dollase were the 3rd race winning connections.
Brother Man ($4.80) went all the way in the 4th, and he had just enough to hold off Direct Connect. Martin Garcia rode the winner for Doug O’Neill.
High Investment ($7.80) rallied for the win in the 5th for Santiago Reyes/Gary Sherlock.
Big upset in the 6th as Elegant Cad ($43.20) wired the field. Another O’Neill winner.
Pick 6 time, and everyone’s alive after Pedroza pulled off the popular wire job aboard Chief’s Lake ($3.40). Ted West saddled the winner.
Show The Flag ($8.20) got the job done under Pedroza, and I’m off to a flying start. Winning conditioner Caesar Dominguez.
Upper Manhattan was nowhere, and Elegant Miss failed to kick it in. Red Alarm ($10.20) last to first under Quinonez, and Caesar Dominguez goes back to back.
Completely out aafter Oscar The Mayor lost a three-horse battle to Tap Tap I Win ($11.80). Another tally for Martin Garcia and Doug O’Neill.
Z Humor ($28.40) goes all the way as the longest shot in the Ralph M Hinds Invitational Handicap. Fine day for Martin Garcia, and Mike Mitchell was the trainer this time.
Four bagger for Pedroza, and Stayonit ($3.40) was never threatened in a facile tally for Jeff Mullins.
Wasted a great start and ended up with three. Closing Day on Monday.
