Fast main track seemed to play fair. Lone flat mile turf race run was nabbed by outside stalker Silentio in the G2 Sir Beaufort.

Rafael Bejarano booted home four winners. Garrett Gomez and Joel Rosario both rode a pair of winners on opening day. Bob Baffert saddled two winners and Bejarano rode both.

On the ticket front I tabbed three Primary (Belvin, Jimmy Creed, Scorpion Warrior) winners and two Secondary (Book Review, Rintoo) winners.
