Hollywood Race 5 (Grade 3 Miesque, 2yo fil, 8T) #5 Forbidden Paradise (6-1) rates a look for profitable trainer David Hofmans as she returns to preferred footing and retains Bejarano. #4 The Mallet (6-1) is a Big Apple invader exiting a solid turf route maiden score. Rosario here. #3 Jules J (12-1) exits romping above par NoCal turf tally.
Hollywood Race 6 (OC-62.5/2x, 3up, 6f) #6 M One Rifle (9-5) is capable of running these off their feet at a speed friendly distance. #5 Plasma Beam (8-1) broke maiden at this course/distance off a layoff. #8 Conclave (5-1) likes this oval and should sit outside stalking trip.
Hollywood Race 7 (OC-100/3x, 3up, 6T) Sadler has a pair, and they are both players. #5 Get Funky (5-1) gets some class relief and attracts Rosario. No wins this year against better, and he’s a 2-time local winner. #8 Banner Lodge (7-2) fired in both local turf sprints and should make presence felt throughout.
Hollywood Race 8 (Alw-1x, 3up, 8.5f) #5 Kalookan Storm (9-2) handles synthetic and should sit decent stalking trip 3rd off the shelf. 5-time winner. #7 Kanan Dume (3-1) stretched out 2nd off the shelf and should make presence felt throughout.
Hollywood Race 9 (Grade 1 Hollywood Derby, 3yo, 10f) #1 Black Bear Island (9-2) adds blinkers and is back at better distance. Bullet work for this. #2 The Uusual Q. T. (8-1) has won four straight. #3 Straight Story (8-1), #7 Take The Points (7-2), and #10 Battle of Hastings (3-1) were closely matched in New York and Virginia.
Hollywood Race 10 (MSW, 2yo, 6f) #10 Zilarator (7-2) is a $170k Keeneland sales grad for Baffert. Four local bullets and he could be the goods. #6 Domonation (5-1) dons the hood and reunites with Rosario. Flashed talent in bow before disappointing last time. #9 Wayman (9-2) earned much improved fig for new barn last out. Pace factor under Talamo.
