Sunday (7-18-10) Hollywood Park Preview

I was hoping to post the closing day pick six but I fell behind after attending the races at Delaware Park on Saturday. I will be posting a Del ‘Cap Day recap blog shortly.

A 10-race card is on tap for Hollywood Park’s closing day. Three turf races are on the docket including the Grade 3 Sunset for long-winded sorts. Speed has been strong on turf recently and we shall see if that trend continues. I have included analysis of the 8th race below.

HOL 8 (Alw-1x, CA-bred 3up, 7f) #5 J P Jammer (3-1) appears to be rounding to top form in his 3rd race off the shelf. He exits a close-up 3rd in a similar local spot and projects a tactical journey under Martin Garcia. The Plays: #5 to win

Del Mar Schedule

Del Mar has always been my favorite meet of the year and this site kicked off during the ’09 Del Mar season. I will try to cover the pick six as often as possible for the upcoming Del Mar meet. Check back next week for opening day pick six analysis.
