Hat trick for Joel Rosario. Rafael Bejarano booted home a pair and Doug O’Neill saddled two winners.
Sidepocket Lou (4th race) had a troubled beginning and never got involved under a ten pound apprentice. He was claimed by the high percentage Bill Morey and can go better next time.

Saturday (6-26-10) Hollywood Park Preview
A 9-race program is on tap for Saturday and the pick six includes three grass events. The feature race is the Grade 3 Beverly Hills Handicap for fillies and mares traveling a mile and a sixteenth on the turf. The aforementioned Beverly Hills is my Horse Racing Nation Play of the Day.

HOL 4 (Clm-32k, 3yo, 8T) #2 Otto Von Voom (3-1) was beaten by subsequent G3 Wlll Rogers runner-up Bogie in an Optional Claiming event here May 19. The Jeff Mullins trainee captured his three previous flat mile turf starts in Arizona and projects a ground saving tactical trip under Tyler Baze. #3 Ministers Power (9-2) is back in for a tag after an even 4th vs. older state bred sprinters June 5. He looked good winning a Golden Gate flat mile turf claimer May 14 and the place finisher came back to score again. Bonde is enjoying a fine meet and he looms a prominent throughout threat. The Plays: #2 to win, Quinella 2-3, Trifecta 2-3/2-3-5-7/2-3-5-7
