Sunday Del Mar Recap – Sept 2
Edge to early-pressing types (3 wire jobs) early in the day on Polytrack but bias seemed to shift and patient types fared best later on in the card. A wire job and a stalker made up the two turf route winners.
Edwin Maldonado, Mike Smith, and Joe Talamo each booted home a pair. Jerry Hollendorfer and Leandro Mora both saddled two winners on the day.
On the ticket front I tabbed two Primary (Cathy’s Crunches, Scarlet Strike) winners and one Secondary (Goldenscents) winner.
