Oak Tree Recap – Closing Day
Let’s put a wrap on the Oak Tree meet. Hollywood starts on Friday the 13th, so look for my analysis the evening of Nov 12th.
Fenice (Bejarano-Harty) rallied from off the pace as the fav to nab the Sunday opener, and fav Dynamic Range ($7) also struck in the 2nd race. Espinoza booted home the latter for Julio Canani.
Chalk fest continued in the 3rd with Evening Jewel (Smith-Cassidy), and more of the same with Sky Marni ($6.40) in the 4th. Quninonez booted home the latter for Sal Gonzalez.
Pick 6 time, and I’m on the board with even money fav Red Sun (Bejarano-Gaines).
Nosed out of the 6th as Bilo just failed to hold off Fantasy Free ($17.80). Gomez rode the winner for Bob Hess Jr.
Hopes for five still alive after top choice Paddy’s Magic ($5.40) holds on by a nose under Rosario. Howard Zucker saddled the winner.
3 for 4 following popular wire job win by Kays And Jays (Rosario-Mitchell) in the 17th running of the Cascapedia.
No dice in the hillside 9th as Woman Warrior ($26.20) rallied for the upset win for Solis-Headley.
Big ticket single Flyinginformation was nostrilized by Kelleys Kitchen($33.60) in the 10th and final. Tyler Baze brought home the winner for Alfredo Marquez. Ended up with 3 wins and 2 nose defeats.
Got a couple of perfect tickets home at Oak Tree, and it’s off to Inglewood on Friday!
