Friday Santa Anita Park Recap – Dec 31
Edge to early-pressing types on both surfaces.
Rafael Bejarano and Alonso Quinonez both booted home a pair. Jerry Hollendorfer saddled two winners on the afternoon.
On the ticket front I tabbed five Primary (Tales in Excess, Sea Rascal, Rumor, Warren’s Blossom, Silver Medallion) winners. I had two cracks in the finale but Primary contender Benicia Beauty could not quite hang on. Fitting way to end the year with my 6th conso in the last eight SoCal racing days.
