Wednesday’s pick six from Santa Anita Park features five synthetic routes and one sprint. The 3rd race is the career debut of million dollar baby Take Control. Bob Baffert’s juvenile colt is bred to be any kind. There is a 30% chance of PM showers with a high temperature of 64. My suggested tickets can be found at the bottom of this post following analysis.

Santa Anita Race 3 (MSW, 2yo, 8f) #7 Brace Yourselves (2-1) earned an above par speed fig 2nd time out. Hails from profitable 23% barn and is bred to route. #1 Take Control (4-1) is a $1.9 million purchase with a local 6f bullet from the gate and strong breeding (A P Indy/Azeri). Garcia/Baffert 40% together.
Santa Anita Race 4 (Mcl-25k, 3up, 8f) #6 Elmer N Mort (6-1) is out of a profitable 1st route/2nd timer barn, and he can go better with one under his belt. #5 Prevailing Wind (3-1) drops to lowest level and returns to synthetic for profitable 15% barn. Should be competitive versus these. #8 Smokey Beau (5-2) stretched back out and should make presence felt throughout for Rosario/Sadler.
Santa Anita Race 5 (Clm-12.5k, 3up, 8.5f) #7 Changing (5-1) showed improvement 2nd off the shelf across town. Up a notch, and he ran well in both local routes. #8 Souvenir Slew (3-1) drops in class and has been part of trifecta in all nine synthetic starts. #1 Rummysecret War (5-1) matched winning par for this and beat my top last time. He’s 3 for 4 at this distance and might attempt wire job from cozy rail.
Santa Anita Race 6 (Mcl-25k, 3up, 8f) #7 Prince Novetti (3-1) earned quality late pace fig in needed sprint return. Ran well in a local route on April 16th, and he’s been training here since Oct. #1 Country Tough (5-2) stretches back out 3rd off the shelf, and Rosario strings along.
Santa Anita Race 7 (OC-62.5/2x, 3up, 8.5f) #1 Viscount (3-1) was not disgraced in $100k Damascus last time, and show finisher M One Rifle captured the Grade 1 Malibu on opening day. Right there in all three route starts. He frequently uncorks strong triple digit late pace figs and could easily run past these. Others are capable in this spot, but I’ll take a stand and single the Gomez/Baffert contender on both tickets.
Santa Anita Race 8 (Clm-12.5/2L, 3up, 6f) #10 Brian the Brave (9-2) sports two local bullets and broke maiden here. Rebound candidate. #5 Malibu Canyon (5-1) finished 4th behind a sharp romping winner in same race my top exits, and he deserves another chance at the two lifetime level. #1 Crash Landing (8-1) won lone local outing, and he goes outside to inside 3rd off the shelf. #12 Spinning Sound (6-1) rallied for show in needed effort across town. Bejarano sticks.

i wass winning every week 3 day a week at Colonial Downs in VirginiBeach
but now they stop taking Cal-Tracks and i had a good ticket ready to play. o i lost 44.000+ because i could not place my bet..
i all ways play the PICK All for a 1$ and pick 6 8$ max out of 20$ aday
my pick for to day i would have played is
1,2-2,6-2,7-5,8-2-1-7-5 = 16$ bucks what will it pay? #1
4,5-6-7-8,5-2-1-7-5 = 4$bucks two pick 8 and 1 pick 6
2,7-8,5-2-1-7-5 = 8$bucks i always miss 1 or hit… 8 for 8 and 6 for 6 lets see
