Jarrod Horak’s Santa Anita Pick 6 analysis – Wednesday, February 10, 2010

Santa Anita Race 3 (Clm-25k, 4up, 6.5T) #7 Spirit of Cochise (6-1) reunites with winning pilot Rosario, and he has won down the dip before. Gets pace to chase and will be finishing. #4 Pack Your Bags (10-1) is a capable turf sprinter, and Espinoza hops aboard 2nd off the shelf. #12 Bonfante (8-1) has not won since June ’08, but he showed some signs of life last time and Bejarano strings along.

Santa Anita Race 4 (Clm-12.5/2L, 4up, 6.5f) #4 Abalanche (3-1) earned above par speed rating here on Feb. 5th. O’Neill is 20% first off the claim. #5 Boo Too (4-1) missed by a nose in a local extended sprint last time. #8 Smokenomore (8-1) never got involved last time. Has speed to succeed, and Espinoza strings along. Rebound threat. #10 Indy Ride (9-2) turns back off the Carava claim, and Rosario is 33% with this barn recently.

Santa Anita Race 5 (Clm-50k, 4yo fil, 6f) #3 Life By R R (8-5) confidently scurries up the ladder following a sharp $20k tally on Jan 29th. #6 Maroma (12-1) earned top late pace fig last time, and there is speed to set up her stretch charge. Bejarano strings along.

Santa Anita Race 6 (Mcl-32k, 3yo fil, 7f) #7 Lana’s Lovely (5-1) exceeded winning par for this last time, and barn a profitable 17% blinkers on. Figures all over an expected tepid early pace. #9 Kiss’em For Me (7-2) makes 3rd career start, and extra ½ furlong helps. Bejarano hops aboard.

Santa Anita Race 7 (OC-80/2x, 4up, 8f) #4 Feisty Suances (5-1) is most effective on synthetic, and note that he’s 2 for 2 at this distance. Like his running style versatility. #9 Cigar Man (5-1) is 3 for 23 lifetime, and all three wins accomplished at this distance. #1 Mr. Big (8-1) was been working well in company with promising Baffert 3yo Tiz Chrome. Both wins in synthetic routes.

Santa Anita Race 8 (Clm-12.5/2L, 4up, 6.5f) #11 Crash Landing (4-1) set pace in place finish last time, and he broke maiden at this distance from a stalking position. Talamo and Marty Jones on a roll together recently. #7 Figeac (7-2) shows up in a hot barn and drops in class. Switches surfaces and flees the rail.
