Racing Rachel ($12) easily toppled the even money fav in the Sunday opener. Tyler Baze booted home the Peter Miller trainee.

Norvsky ($6.60) was up by a head in the 2nd to give Tyler Baze the early double.

Unusual Encounter ($8) captured the 3rd for Chantal Sutherland and Barry Abrams.

Hat trick for Tyler Baze after Havens Lake ($13.40) won the opening leg of the pick six. Bill Spawr was the winning conditioner, and my even money contender Suziqcutie ended up missing by a 1/2 length.

Dead-heat in the grassy 5th, and I did not have either. Lease of Life (Rosario-Mitchell) and Unusual Smoke (Martin Garcia-A C Avila) share the victory.

Had Brazilian Charm ($15.60) in the 6th for Bejarano and Kathy Walsh. Previously trained by Gary Stevens has been a lucrative angle recently.

Two straight after Stash ($6.60) rolled to an easy tally in the 7th for Gomez/Headley.

Big Ticket single Bourbon Bay ($9.60) was an easy winner of the Grade 2 San Luis Obispo Handicap for Bejarano/Drysdale.

First timer Self Made ($24.80) rallied from 14th and last to get up by a head in the finale. John Sadler was the winning conditioner.
