Off the turf for the 2nd, and overbet fav Quarter Given ($3.20) just did survive by a nose under Bejarano. Richard Mandella saddled the winner.

Pick 6 begins, and Franjelica ($7.60) had the winning girl power team of Chantal Sutherland and Kristin Mulhall in her corner.

2 for 2 on the Big Ticket after Turf Paradise transplant Part Time Luck ($9.40) cruised under hot rider Bejarano. Jeff Mullins saddled the winner, and he was claimed by Jerry Hollendorfer.

I backed the wrong firster in the 5th. Hopeful Union ($16) was a smart stalking winner for Tyler Baze/Ron Ellis.

Another moved to the Pro-Ride, and the speed kept going with Diferentkindagreat ($23.60) by a head for Valdivia/Hendricks.

Furious inside rally by Richard’s Kid ($5.20) in the San Antonio. Great ride by Gomez, and Baffert saddled the Dubai World Cup bound horse. My 18-1 contender Philatelist was two heads back in 3rd. If he gets there I have the tri!
