Main track played fair (2 sprint wire jobs). The two flat mile turf routes were won by a stalking type and a late runner.
Brice Blanc and Victor Espinoza both booted home a pair.
On the ticket front I tabbed three Primary (Initial Impression, Battle Force, Include Me Out) winners and one Secondary (Ziva) winners.

Saturday’s Pick 6 from Santa Anita Park includes three dirt sprints and three turf events. The feature race is the $65,000 Lure Stakes for 3-year-olds and up traveling a flat mile on the turf course. Morning line favorite John Johny Jak exits a solid show finish behind BC Mile entrants Jeranimo and Mr. Commons and projects a decent tactical trip under Victor Espinoza. Make Music For Me cuts back to a more reasonable distance and also gets some class relief. He’s a viable alternative to the favorite. Sunny skies are expected with a high temperature of 65.
