Three Polytrack sprint wire jobs including two at six furlongs. Turf course played fair.
Another hat trick for smokin’ Joe Talamo. Garrett Gomez both booted a pair. Mike Mitchell saddled two winners and Talamo rode both.
On the ticket front I tabbed four Primary (Butterfly Beach, Gallatin’s Run, Halo Dolly, Safe Word) winners and one Secondary (Delta Fix) winner. My 8th race Primary contender Mr. Make Believe missed by a head…oh so close! The winning conso came back $222.40 and I had it twice.

Morning line favorite John Johny Jak exits a strong try in the Wickerr and figures to have plenty of company up front, which could bode well for patient runners like Leroy’s Dynameaux and Norvsky. Partly cloudy skies are expected with a high temperature of 77.
